Ask Better Questions Of Ourselves

Although you may be unaware of it when you are thinking about a specific problem you have come up against you are in actual fact asking your subconscious mind to provide you with the answer. And as long you have belief in the power of your subconscious mind and your own ability to find answers to your own problems then at some point in time the solution will come into your mind – in the form of an inspiration – and all that is then required is for you to take action.

So if you think of your own subconscious mind as having a great similarity to the Internet then you also need to see your thoughts as having a similarity to a search engine, lets say Google in this instance.

If you have spent any time searching for information on Google then you know how important it is that you use specific terms if you want to get the results you are looking for.

Yes you can type in any old general question but if you do you will have a massive set of search results to sift through in order to find what you really want.

But if you think more carefully about what you type into the search box and make it very specific then the results you will get are already refined and filtered.

Now let’s put this into the context of your thoughts. Your thoughts when you are trying to get a solution to a problem normally tend to be in the form of self talk. So if you ask yourself better questions then you stand a better chance that the solutions that come back in the form of inspired ideas or eureka moments will likewise be much more specific and give you a clearer picture of what action you need to take.

The conclusion this brings us to is that you need to ask yourself better questions if you want to get better answers how to move forward in life. But to get better answers from our subconscious we need to ensure we ask the right questions in the first place.

Avoid vague questions if you want to get specific answers.
